ASPE Chapter 17 - Detroit & S/E MI

You’ve probably heard about this event from a classmate or instructor.  Get on board and you too can share in the excitement of the 11th hour activities that take place in bid rooms across the industry.  This program is an adrenaline-fueled, fast-paced, first-hand look at what really happens behind closed doors when a job is on the line.

ASPE (American Society of Professional Estimators) Chapter 17 and NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) Detroit Chapter are again joining forces to present our (6th) annual “Bid Day Simulation” event, February 15, 2018  5:30 - 8:30PM at Barton Malow Company's offices at 26500 American Drive, Southfield MI

Students:

This is a FREE and informative program for students currently seeking degrees in construction-related fields.  All such students are encouraged to register and attend. There will be no accommodation for registration at the event so all attendees will need to be pre-registered.  Pre-registration will be verified at the door.

Download your student registration form   HERE   and encourage your classmates to do the same.

As if the event itself wasn't fun enough, there could be money in it for you!!  Click HERE to find out how YOU can be a scholarship recipient at this year's event.

Others:

Our program has been a success because of our Generous Sponsors and participation by ASPE and NAWIC members.  Do you represent a local construction firm and are you interested in meeting the next generation of students that will be knocking on your HR department’s doors?

Sponsor a Bid team and designate a company representative to lead the company-sponsored team.  A $500 contribution to our registered (501C6) non-profit organization will secure your company’s slot in the event.  Registrations will be capped at eight Bid teams, so you'll want to reserve early to make sure your company is represented in this year’s event.

For your contribution you will receive a dedicated space to prepare your bid, place your backdrop or hang your company banner, required tools and materials to achieve your bid-day task, dinner for (up to 3 of) your designated company representative(s) and public acknowledgement of your participation in the event.  You are welcome (and encouraged) to dress your team in matching shirts or other industry appropriate clothing or accessories to add to the festive mood and introduce team and or competitive spirit.

Whether or not you elect to sponsor a bid team, your donation is welcome and will be appreciated.  For instance, you can hang your company banner or place a company backdrop and feed one spectator for $100. Additional spectators are welcome at $25 per head; this includes food & beverage.

Donations of any amount to be applied toward scholarships are also welcome.

The Sponsor/ Donor / Spectator registration form can be downloaded  HERE

Payments can be submitted a number of ways, outlined   HERE
